Hi,
As stated in the title, my father in law, who grew up Catholic believes that the Bible (specifically the Old Testament) are myths retold by the Hebrews. He also says that you can’t believe anything in the Bible is true or not true. He and my mother-in-law watch a lot of those “Mysteries of the Bible” type shows, so I think that’s influencing them.
Do you have any advice in response to these? My faith is fine, but I do want to make sure my kids don’t get mixed messages from Church and home and visits to Grandma and Grandpa.
Also, please don’t get me wrong, my in-laws are great people. I love them as my own parents.
