What do I tell my sister who is engaged to be married and is doubting?

Hi! I have a sister who is engaged to be married. She has been dating her fiance for five years and have been engaged for about 3 months. They live a holy and Catholic relationship and wish to also live a holy and Catholic marriage. She has been having some serious doubts lately. She has been telling me that her heart has been feeling “not full” by him in a romantic sense most times. He is a great guy but often times it seems her heart wanders. It has been a continuous theme for her over the five years with him but she feels like he is such a good man, and they are engaged to be married at this point, it must be God’s will. My advice to her was that only God can fulfill us completely and no other person can. I am wondering what sort of advice I can give her? Is it normal to feel this way right before marriage?

Hi,

Marriage is for life. If she is having serious doubts, then now is the time to call it off. Marriage is not a remedy for relationship problems.
