It seems a little radical to me, at least. I says that all entertainment is intrinsically evil.
I see one issue right off the bat. It said “Roman Catholic mysticism”. I’m not too educated in this, but from what I know mysticism can be bad if handled the wrong way, which may be what they’re doing. But there are more knowledgeable people here that will fill you in better than I. 🙂

I briefly glanced at it and found a part of their site that said “Hate Mail.”

It had copies of rude messages sent to the psychologist. Below each one was a snarky comment by said psychologist. It didn’t seem like the mature response I would look for in a doctor. I don’t think that I would go to the site just because I believe that he writes from his position and not from the Church’s position.

The site has a very narrow view.

I think that Christians tend to use the word ‘evil’ almost too lightly. Is it evil if a movie glamorises sex in a way that could make viewers want to have premarital sex themselves? No. Does that movie have the ability to sway people to act in a theologically immoral way? Perhaps. Evil = capacity to tempt. If you contextualise the use of the word evil to mean that, a lot of seemingly abrasive writings may seem not so estranging… although there is definitely a strong argument that it is misguided to throw the word evil around in such a way.

Who’s to say he’s wrong, though? Since it is up to opinion, he could be right just as much as EWTN, Catholic Answers, etc., right? We’re basing our eternity on this, no?

One has to judge in each case…

Let us not base ones eternity on someones personal website…let us rather look to the Church.

But …Yes human persons can be wrong. That includes persons here or on Ewtn…
