What do the words "ideological burden" mean to you?

I’m curious as to what people think about the owrds “ideological burden”.The way I interpret it,it means to always do things out of an ideoloigcal basis.However I’ve got a feeling that it means more then that.Any opinions on this.Thank you very much for your time.
