Maybe I’ll make me some eggs, I was just gonna have cereal lol

If in a pinch, an omelet with some herbs.

Seafood is a standby for me like shrimp curry or ready made shrimp tempura.

Since it’s summer, I fire up the grill and grill some salmon and vegetables.

If I’m feeling really festive, since it’s practically the weekend, I wrap up a banana in foil, put in a pat of butter and brown sugar and throw it in the grill too.

Serve that with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

This Friday mum cooked us some brown fried rice. (Thermomix recepie)

Just to give y’all a heads up, next Friday, the 19th, is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, and therefore a Meat Friday!

I’m turning 140.

I feel that old.

This year has not been kind to me.

I dont think we fast on Fridays. Just no meat, or you do another penance if you live in America.

Do we have to abstain from meat on Friday?

I think so. Or you can do another penance if you are in the USA. Though maybe I’m wrong

It depends on where you live.

In the US, you don’t have to if you substitute another penance.

In the UK, abstinence from meat on Fridays is mandatory.
