What do you all think of this? - Different Catholic Rite Churches

My priest made a statement in a local community newspaper article (newspaper geared toward Chaldean-Rite Catholics), that Chaldean-Rite Catholics should attend our own churches rather than churches of other Catholic Rites. He stated that people’s motives/ reasons for going to other catholic rite churches are the works of the devil… I will look for the article if anyone wants to read, but I don’t have it right now.

Someone said that the priest is talking about canon law. … So would that mean we should attend churches of our own rite? And, is it wrong to attend different catholic-rite churches? I am confused that the priest would make this comment.

Any Catholic rite reconognized by the Holy See and is in line with Pope Benedict XVI is fine to go to…I mean I go to 3 different churches, one is under the dicoease the other a SJ and finally a Byzantine. All are Catholic and all are perfectly fine to go to.
