What do you call the ceremony for a Lutheran becoming a Catholic?

If someone is coming into the Church from the Lutheran church and has received a Baptism and Confirmation in that church before becoming Catholic, what exactly do they call the “ceremony” which takes place during mass to initiate them into the Church? Are there special prayers said, and if so what are they called?

Dear p,

When a non-Catholic Christian becomes a Catholic, he or she makes a profession of faith. Unless the person belonged to one of the eastern orthodox churches, he or she also must receive the sacrament of Confirmation because the Catholic Church does not recognize the validity of confirmation in the Protestant Churches.
So one can call the ceremony his or her profession of faith or his or her Confirmation in the Catholic Church.
