Hi everyone,

I subscribe to Magnificat, which I really enjoy, but I wondered if anyone has any good ideas for what to do with the old issues? They’re such nice quality little books and it seems a waste just to get rid of them, but I definitely don’t need them piling up around he house either. Does anyone know of a group that could use them?

What do you do with old issues of booklets like these??

Hello,
I’ve taken mine to the Catholic relief services center where I live. 🙂
I’ve also taken some to the Saint Vincent de Paul thrift stores.

God Bless!

That is a good idea. I have a whole drawer full of them. However, I have toyed with the idea of taking off my favorite covers and framing them in one of those frames that have pre-cut openings to put family pictures in and making a nice arrangement to hang in my bedroom.

I am also planning a garage sale this summer and I might just put them out on a table for anybody to take. Maybe do a bit of evangelizing while I’m getting rid of my junk.

I’ll admit I’ve torn a few covers off of the Magnificat and pinned them up because the art work is so beautiful, but I just can’t throw them away even after that, I’ll take them to someone coverless, lol 😃

Several people in my parish put them in the pamphlet rack. They dissappear rather rapidly; so I assume people want them and use them.
