There’s been a lot of crisis, etc in our nation and world. We’ve all had our struggles, whether with our families, the economic crisis, jobs, school, etc. Yet God is always there and He carries us through it.

What do you thank God for?

I thank God for the following:
  1. For the family who’s always supported me and continues to support me as I make my way into this world.
  2. For the friends God has blessed my life with, because they make my day, even when I feel frustrated with everything.
  3. For the fact that I have the opportunity to get an education.
  4. For the fact that I have a job.
  5. For the kindness of strangers
  6. New opportunities
  7. For my friend’s upcoming marriage, as she and her hubby to be are just made for each other.
  8. For allowing me to hear from one of my best friends half a world away.
  9. For the beauty of autumn.
  10. For HIS INFINITE LOVE AND MERCY!

I’m caring for my 84 year old mother who lives with me and I thank God for every day and every blessing and every minute.

You would say my life is boring, but I thank God for boring days.

  1. For having a loving, forgiving, and compassionate God!
  2. For my family and friends.
  3. For the ability provided to me through education.
  4. For my community.
  5. For weekends 😃
  6. For Nascar 😃
  7. For penance… as always.

Our youngest son gives the petition below for our family rosary -he speaks for all of us 👍 :
  • Life
  • Faith
  • Family
  • Home
  • and a means to provide for them
God is good! 🙂

Every time I pray, I try to start by thanking God for everything He has given me before I start asking for help. =)

First and foremost, I thank God for my boyfriend. If we had never met, I would probably never have decided to join the Catholic church. Our relationship has definitely not been easy, and I don’t know if it’s going to last, but it has been worth it just for that.

I thank God for giving me the capacity to love and forgive.

I thank God for the roof over my head, for my job, and for the means to pay for my car and put food on my table.

I thank God for my singing voice.

I thank God for my good health, and the good health of my parents.

I thank God for the caring people in my life – good friends, family, and all the wonderful new people I’m meeting in RCIA.

I thank God for helping me make it through each and every day.

Nothing…

If God exists, he allowed too much suffering in the world.

What is there I don’t thank Him for?? Without Him I am nothing and have nothing. God is GREAT!😃

Nice thread, maria.🙂

I’m thankful for:
  1. my faith
  2. the Sacraments
  3. God’s mercy
  4. my husband
  5. my kids
  6. my dh’s and my careers
  7. our move to Florida
  8. good friends
  9. that I can lay my head down at night, and be at peace
  10. each new day that I have to use the talent, treasure and time God’s given to me to use for building up of His kingdom.
  11. Mary praying with me and for me, when I ask for her intercession.
Many more things, but those are the top ones.

What I am eternally grateful and thankful to God for???

1.
** That Jesus pulled me from doubting for awhile that He is the Truth, the Light and the Way,****:newidea:** ALWAYS!

2.** His Holy Spirit will ALWAYS be there to guide us, I just had to listen with my heart.❤️**

3.** That in my sin, I can see His glorious and majestic plan for my redemption.:hug3:**

4.** For my husband who He gave back to me after suffering from SSA that he never, ever wanted but struggled against the tide and found the way back to shore, through faith and uncompromised love.:console:**

**5. **For my beautiful children, one with Asperges, who have taught me so many things I would not have hoped to understand had they not been in my life.:grouphug:

**6. **For my mother whom most hope was given up on and after sending the Bishop to see her, now has turned a major corner in her health. Now I have another chance to show her the Truth, the Light and the Way!

7.
** Just two days ago, my DH and I decided to take our house off the market because of the slow economy (no house sales in this area for the past two months!). It would mean hard financial problems, but believed somehow we would manage. Lo and behold, a couple in the neighborhood came to see us about another matter. In the course of conversation, they wanted to know if our house was still for sale. We hummed and hared, but they told us to consider it sold for the FULL PRICE, for their daughter and her son!:dancing:**

**8. **WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!:extrahappy:

PRAISE AND GLORY TO HIM FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN.

(Thank you Lord for everything.)

My three children, without a doubt. Three miracles I get to witness, relish and delight in every day.

Thanks! Your secret is safe with me.👍

Here’s a little thanksgiving prayer the Lord inspired me to write. Give Him the thanks for it 😉

Most Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - I adore You profoundly and I wish to give You thanks; but mindful of my own nothingness, I pray through You, with You, and in You, my Lord.

Thanks be to God, Who is the Creator of Heaven and Earth
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man the Lord Jesus Christ
Thanks be to God, for He was conceived by the Holy Spirit
Thanks be to God, for He was born of the virgin Mary
Thanks be to God, for He suffered, died, and was buried
Thanks be to God, for He descended into hell
Thanks be to God, for He rose again on the third day
Thanks be to God, for He ascended into Heaven
Thanks be to God, for He will come again in glory
Thanks be to God, for His Kingdom will have no end
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man the Holy Spirit
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man the Catholic Church
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man the communion of saints
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man the bodily resurrection
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man the forgiveness of sins
Thanks be to God, Who has given to man life in abundance

I’m thankful for my beautiful faith… for my incredible husband… for my beautiful children… and for all God has given us in this world to enjoy.

Let’s see, for obviously always being there for me and for dying on the cross and forgiving my sins. Plus my family, friends and the blessings he’s bestowed upon me. Plus all the cool toys he’s blessed me with and for always being there to play with me too.
