Letter to the Galatians( The Current Ankara( Turkey))

I am amazed that you are so quickly forsaking the one who called you by (the) grace (of Christ) for a different gospel

7

(not that there is another). But there are some who are disturbing you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ.

8

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed! 7

9

As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed!

10

Am I now currying favor with human beings or God? Or am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.

Do you think that speaks about Muhammad and others, another gospel, I discovered this passage in another times and I was shocked, what do you think?

Greetings

This passage talks about ANYONE who corrupts the message of the Gospel as it is delivered by the Apostles. Seriously, this is the best arguement for Apostolic Tradition in Scripture.

Galatians is one of those superb tracts by Paul with one foot in the contemplative tradition and the other which is totally pragmatic.

The greatest struggle in Christianity was not with external forces ( such as unbelievers) but with the gnostics, the letters of John also detail this struggle. In this respect,Paul is not preaching orthodoxy,he is preaching against novelty which these spurious anti-Christian sects tended to generate by attempting to hijack the genuine Christian contemplative tradition and especially the Johanine tradition.

No. Paul pre-dates Muhammad by 600 years or so (am I misunderstanding your question?). The context of the verse indicates that the false gospel (in this case, though there are millions of them) he is speaking of is reliance on the Mosaic Law as a means to salvation. Big no no.
