I thought it was a big lie, and sure enough I didn’t get one.
My paycheck is exactly the same.
I took a quick look at last year’s taxes and it doesn’t look good for my wife and I. We’ll be forced to take the standard deduction and lose our exemptions which will leave us with a larger AGI and more taxable income. The key is now to see what the tax brackets are, and try to squeak in at a lower rate. Right now it looks like our taxes are going up.
Ironically, we’re going to have to not work as hard.
