Genesis 5:31

Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
 
7 on its own usually refers to a covenant, as ancient Jews, when making an oath, would say, “I seven myself”.
 
The commentary in the New American Bible-Revised Edition on the number 666 in Revelation 13:18 says in part:
It has also been observed that “6” represents imperfection, falling short of the perfect number “7,” and is represented here in a triple or superlative form. (source)
Therefore, whereas 666 represents the greatest of imperfection, 777 would represent the greatest of perfection.
