What does God's will consist of?

Is God’s will consistent of the 10 commandments and everything he told us to follow and obey or is it the life he wants us to live? Is the situation we live in, The house we live in, the problems that we face, the people we meet, etc. , do these contribute to the will of God?

God acts sometimes in Providential ways, other times he lets things unfold as they shall, and he lets us act of our free wills, so we cause or contribute to some of our outcomes. Actually, I think God rarely interferes with the processes of creation that he put into place, i.e., evolution, the workings of nature, etc. He’s still in charge, always, but may not always choose to act. When he does, it’s Providence, that is, Divine Action, and it can be direct or indirect.
