Dear friend,
A Catholic in good standing is one who can receive the sacraments frequently and does. By marrying invalidly outside of the Church, having marital relations is mortally sinful. This is why you are not allowed to receive the Eucharist. However, if you were able to have your first marriage annulled, you could be married in the Church and receive the Eucharist. Also, if you live as brother and sister and go to Confession, you could receive the Eucharist. However, it would be good to receive the Eucharist in a parish where you are not known so as to not scandalize anyone who might not know of your celibate way of life. You are in our prayers.
