What does it mean to be a Devout Catholic?

While i could easily just vote for the second option, its not enough. One might easily attend mass every week, pray everyday but be a heretic. On the other hand one might be unable to do mass and prayer due to certain circumstances (eg, lives in an all protestant area or a house wife with Children eventually is unable to find time for herself let alone pray!) but may still offer their lives to God and be faithful and submissive to His Magisterium.

Catholicism is about submission, to the point where we no longer desire selfishly but trust in God for His will is perfect…“Let it be done to me according to your word!” Gotta love Mary, perfect Christian role model! 👍

It should be edited into a hand-out sized pamphlet for widespread distribution in literature racks. Excellent.
 
To me being a devout Catholic is first and foremost staying in the state of grace. This is done by obeying and believing all the teachings (dogmas, doctrines, etc.) of the Catholic Church without question. Attending Mass as often as you can, once daily if possible, if not then as many times a week as you can. Leading a prayerful life, daily prayers to include the rosary and chaplet of Divine Mercy. Confession on at least a monthly basis, more if needed. Participating in activities at your local parish. i.e. Legion of Mary, St. Vincent de Paul Society, usher, altar servers, or in any other capacity you feel called to do. These are just a few ways of showing true devotion to Our Lord and Savior. Don’t forget, when you leave the Church (Physical building), you take your religion with you and evangelize when you can and lead a good Catholic life.
 
A person who is being transformed into another Jesus or another Mary.
