What does it mean when the Bible talks about God's anger, sadness, jealousy, etc.?

Does God experience emotions, or is His anger, sadness, and jealous entirely outside of what we consider “emotions?”

God uses the language of human emotions to communicate with humans because that’s what humans understand.
God doesn’t experience emotions like humans do. His love and wrath are so much bigger and deeper than anything we could possibly feel that we are incapable of understanding it. He obviously has no reason to be “jealous” of anybody or anything, and just uses that word to underscore that he doesn’t look kindly on humans worshipping false “gods”.

Jesus, who is God, did experience human emotions because of his human nature. He felt sad and cried, he got angry at the moneychangers, etc. But Jesus’ human emotions weren’t the same as the divine nature.
