*Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.
He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,*
I think I know, but a non-Catholic friend of mine was disputing with me on the idea of pre-destination. Does it mean that God only chose some people for holiness but not others? Can one further infer that God is saying he chose to save some but not others? I’m not supporting this position. Just asking about it. Is such an interpretation incorrect or not?
