Does the bible talk about reincarnation? How do we know that this is our only life? Also if the bible does speak about it, then how does god decide who should be reincarnated?

That’s the ones I was thinking of as well. So, no reincarnation.

What would be the point of many lives? How depressing to believe that my wife and children would live a different life to me.

I like this article (almost out of likes for the day)

And I agree that believing in reincarnation can lead to lower moral standards, because as the chap says if we think we get multiple lives our behaviour in each one is not so important. Though a Buddhist may argue differently, believing that each life should be used to develop to the point where we no longer need to return to this earth.

I don’t believe in reincarnation, it’s not a Catholic belief.

It does. There is no such thing as reincarnation.

Divine revelation and theology.

Moot point, because we don’t get reincarnated.

The person incarnates once and then reincarnates once at the general resurrection.
