Neither of my parents knew what Halloween was until we moved here back in 1992. I was 6 and of course the idea of dressing up and getting candy was a dream! But now Im older and have my own daughter and I’d like to get your opinion. Is “celebrating” Halloween considered an action against God & Church? By celebrating I mean dressing up and walking around the neighborhood, just having a good time.
I’ve read a couple blogs & sites about this but got nowhere so I thought I’d try here. My opinion? I think there’s no harm to an extent. I can see it where some people take it too far with costumes, decorations, and the way they act. But the majority of people are just looking for a reason to dress up and escape the confines of everyday life. But yeah, what do you say?
Thank you and God Bless!
