I this in the CCC and I’m a little confused about what it means:

CCC 841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims.
“The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”

I’ve also heard that Muslim Imams are now scheduled to preach from the Quran in Catholic parishes. See video below.

Can you please tell me what the Church has to say about Islam? Is it a false religion? I always hear about the good Islam faith which is God fearing, and then there are radical Muslims. My problem is if the “God Fearing” Muslims were really on our side, why don’t they condemn murder and other atrocities carried out by the radicals in their own religion?

Thanks,
Katie
