Hello!
I am currently taking a class on Thomas Aquinas right now and we came across the topic of Predestination. Now, my question is, what does thr Catholic Church teach about it? For example, I have read something that states that God wills all to be saved, but he only predestines those who he knows will not fall away. And those whom he knows will fall away he does not predestined but allows them to choose to go to hell.
Now, I’m not trying to freak out or anything, but if this is the case then what if I am trying to be a good Christian now but I’m not doing too well, does this show that I might not be predestined? I would really appreciate a clear answer on this for it is really giving me some trouble and is disturbing my peace. Thank you.
God bless.
