What exactly makes one Christian?

The beatitudes tell us how to live in the light of God, so that we can truly be called Christian. Being Christian is not simply saying, “I believe and accept Jesus Christ into my heart,” then being baptized in Christ. Being a Christian is living in, with, and through Jesus everyday, from the time we wake up and begin our day until we lay our heads down to sleep at the end of a day. Being Christian is a constant–constant repentance, constant glorification to God, constant thanksgiving for the gift of salvation, constant growing and striving to be better, constant prayer, constant learning, constant thought of Jesus Christ in our lives. Being Christian isn’t just being a Catholic, Protestant, or non-denominational evangelical–its living the word and beliefs of the church.
However, I enjoy being Catholic, because I believe the faith brings me into a more concise realm of heaven with the Holy Trinity, apostles, saints, and angels. [BIBLEDRB][/BIBLEDRB]
