What happens to the person after death?

My best friend lost her mother suddenly last week, now she has no one as she was the only daughter & her father already died 15 years ago.
Now she’s about to go crazy from her endless unanswered questions.
i thought to help her and post her questions so she can get some answers.

What happens to the person who dies & how does he/she feel (body & soul)?
Where does the soul go?
Does the dead body physically feel anything?
Can the soul come back? Is it around or can it sees us?
If yes how can we communicate with it?
Can someone describe this other world & how the second life looks like?
Do they eat & drink as they used to on earth?
Can a died person come back to life on earth? (Knowing that she read a book about a Russian writer who came back to life after 36 hours of his death and the book is supposed to be approved from the church)

I’m not familiar with Islam theology so I can only answer this according to Catholic theology

if the soul goes to hell, she’ll feel pain, hatred and various other suffering. if she goes to purgatory, there would be some kind of suffering for venial sins committed during life, but being assured she will go to heaven one day, it’s actually a happier life than we’re living now. If she goes to heaven, there will be no suffering only eternal happiness and love from God.

souls won’t come back. there’s only one death for every one, after that she/he will either go to hell, purgatory or heaven. hell and heaven are eternal. those in purgatory will go to heaven after their sins are “purged”.
you can always pray for her, if she’s in purgatory, that will shorten her days there and will make her go to heaven faster. you can ask her to pray for you and she can hear you if she’s in purgatory or heaven.
souls neither eat nor drink. eating and drinking are functions of body not soul
we can only know there’re devils and fires in hell, God in heaven.
