I am 28 years old and have been catholic for 8 years and have never been to confession and have committed a mortal sin about fours years ago. I really dont know what to do at this point in my life to feel comfort or relief?

Hi,

I suggest that you go to Confession. Tell the priest that this is your first Confession and he will help you. There is nothing dangerous about confessing one’s sins and there is nothing to fear. Reflect on all the Jesus endured to show you His love. He wants to forgive you. By going to Confession and asking for His forgiveness, you give Him the opportunity. You are in our prayers.
