Sure I like some Mathew Kelly, Resisting Happyness with a cup of that black poison sometimes…Bishop Barrons Priest , Profit , King series and The Mass. These are all wonderful compliments to my days.

But What if there were More People teaching The Doctors of the Church. Teaching directly from one Saint at a time with some opinionated foot notes of sort. Writings that help to relate a Specific Saint to defend the Faith in Modern Day. These are the types of Catholic Books and Materials that we don’t see as much of.

You might like The Fulfillment of All Desire: A Guidebook for the Journey to God Based on the Wisdom of the Saints, by Ralph Martin.

That sounds like how Bishop Barron teaches. He uses the Great Harmony of all the Saints to make is point most times.

I’m rather interested in The deep teaches of the Doctors , one by one or in parts such as. Saint Theresa of Avila’s : Interior Castle. And Saint Teresa the Little Flowers, The Journey of the Soul. Both Doctors from the same Carmelyte Order. As the Interior Castle is about the Souls Journey through 7 mansions inside a Castle and unassumingly covering the 9 levels of prayer in the Image of our Blessed Mother.

Some of these Writings are incredibly deep as they show when the Church recognizes a Doctor of the Church. The expanding of our Faith in the Doctors and Growing in understanding of God
