There’s this idea that if someone doesn’t want kids there must be a reason. Not so. Some of us just don’t want any. Period.
I realize that. Some of the other responses seemed to miss that distinction, though, and I was trying to clarify it.I never said I wasn’t open to it just not running toward it.
Maybe I didn’t read closely enough. The Ferrari was just an example. I’d be quite content with a nice Beamer. Anything more is too showy. But I appreciate fine cars, so that was my example. I wanted to make it as clear as possible :-D.I thought I did share them. It’s not that complicated. I feel I’ve done the baby stage several times and I got kind of burned out on it. I’m not saying I wouldn’t be open to go through it with a child of my own only that I don’t think I’ll miss it all that much if it doesn’t happen.I don’t think you actually read my post anyway…where did I mention a Ferrari??? or anything to do with materalism. Oh and bye the way I’m more of a Corvette type of person…lol

They say the unexamined life is not worth living. I disagree. Every life is worth living. But it is enriching to examine one’s life and to discover your own reasons and motives. There’s this idea that if someone doesn’t want kids there must be a reason. Not so.
