What is a companion edition bible?

I’m thinking of getting one but wasn’t sure what exactly one is.

From what I’ve seen online, a “companion edition Bible” is one with both extensive footnotes and commentary, and also supplemental resources such as prayers, Mass guide and prayers, litanies, and other devotionals, etc.
