Mark wrote around 60AD to a persecuted Christian group under Nero in Rome. Mark wrote from Rome.
Matthew wrote around 8O Ad, in Syria. to a Jewish audience. Matthew was an Apostle.
Luke wrote around the same time to a gentile audience in Greece. Luke wrote in Greek. And also wrote Acts of the Apostles.
These are the three synoptic Gospels. Matthew and Luke drew on Marks Gospel. And of course wrote themselves.
John wrote later. John was also an Apostle .
