I recently heard about a Jericho walk from someone who is devoutly Catholic on a radio show. I’ve never heard of it before. I looked it up and would like to know more about it. Have any of you heard about a Jericho walk, or done it and had any testimonials or praise reports from doing it? Thank you!

I never heard of Jericho Walk. I googled and got this:

If all it means is marching while praying, Catholics do that all the time; they just don’t usually call it a Jericho walk. I’ve done several of them for pro-life; you march through town to someplace like the PP clinic or a government building, and pray the Rosary for Life as a group while you walk. The March for Life is also similar to a Jericho Walk, and I did that once too.

Thank you… I had read about this too. However the woman who was talking about it on a radio show said she and her husband did it for 6 days in the neighborhood they wanted to live in, and on the 7th day a home went up for sale and people offered to help them buy the house. I was curious if there were certain prayers or something you are supposed to do with it? I would like to do it as an intercession for someone battling cancer… I know any prayer is effective, but was wondering if catholicism had any specific teachings about this format of prayer specifically.
