What is allowed one who is Catholic and divorced?

What is the standard for receiving communion if divorced without an annullment?
 
Hi,

So long the marriage of a divorced Catholic has not been proven to be null, the Church considers that person still married and expects that person to remain faithful to yhe vows of that marriage. So no dating and certainly no attempts at marrying outside of the Church. So long as this is in place such a person if free to receive Holy Communion.
