I am new to this forum. I don’t know what an apologist is?
But one thing I would like to know is how to explain to a non catholic Christian why we are baptized at birth. They tell me it is ridiculous to say that a child is born with sin. They say we should be immersed in water as adults and our coming out of water symbolizes Jesus rising from the dead. They say you can’t be saved til you are an adult and you can hear the word of God and be taught thru scripture. All points made were quite good and because I have been away from Catholic Church for so long I really didn’t know how to answer. Can you help?
