What is appropriate feminine dress?

I have somewhat of a controversial question. I have read in sites of the SSPV or similar societies that it is immoral for women to wear pants. Now I am confused, since they use a passage from the OT in which it says that it is an abomination to God when women wear mens attire. Is pants exclusively for men? Personally, I prefer a woman in a skirt (long skirts) since it looks so beautiful. But is this a matter of culture, opinion, or of forgotten moral codes.
