What is final perseverance? Need help to understand

I just finished the First saturday devotion, and on my way to finish the first friday devotion, and it
has a promise for the grace of final perseverance and for graces necessary for salvation.
 
Final perseverance simply means that we’ll continue to walk in God’s ways, faithfully doing His will and free from the mortal sin that separates us from Him, until the end of our lives so that eternal life will be ours.
