What is Heaven Like

Are there Catholic books on this subject? I’m sure there are. What is recommended?

Best place to start is in revelation The description of the Holy City that descends from Heaven is beautiful.

Read “The Forty Dreams of St Bosco” excellent descriptions of both heaven and hell. However as to what the beautific vision actually entails no eye has seen, ear has heard nor has it even entered into the hearts of man what God has in store for those who love Him.

So imagine everything that could possibly make you happy, then throw it all away, realize that God as our Creator has something so wonderful and amazing in store for those who love Him and obey Him that it goes beyond all human description and capacity.

IMHO, Heaven is so big, and God’s Presence is so great, that wherever you decide to go in heaven, God’s presence will always be felt–and his presence is pure unending love and joy unimaginable.
