What is J.N.D.'s theological view?

I was wondering what the theological slant is of J.N.D Kelly. I am looking for some good historians to read. Is he non-Catholic or anti-Catholic?

JND Kelly was an Anglican. High Church Anglo-Catholic, I believe. His “Early Christian Creeds” and “Early Christian Doctrines” are outstanding. A Patristic scholar to the nth degree.
