I want to be Catholic but my parents won’t let me. In my heart though, I am Catholic. I believe everything that I have learned about the Catholic faith. So when someone asks me what my religion is, what do I say?
If you are currently a non-Catholic Christian, you could simply say you are a Christian without further specification because Catholics are Christians. If you are currently a non-Christian, you could say “My family is [name family religion]” without further specification. God bless.
