If I remember correctly, I started praying the Rosary(one third per day). šŸ˜€

This explains everythingā€¦lol
To be honest I didnā€™t adopt anything I didnā€™t already have without covid19 situation.

Iā€™m still working every day, so I unfortunately donā€™t have time to take up a new hobby on top of dealing with work and having to make more of my own food rather than go out for it.

Iā€™m a SAHW, but having The Husband working from home has increased my own workload so no time to take up new hobbies. šŸ˜

I would not call this a hobby but I took up teaching grade school.

Itā€™s not exactly a new hobby, but as an aspiring writer Iā€™m trying to write some more short stories (and actually get some finished).

Iā€™m trying to make an engine that runs off of garbage. If it works Iā€™ll put it in my Delorean, and then start work on the ā€œflux capacitorā€. I canā€™t say anything more about that particular project.

Washing my face with face scrub and face wash, respectively. I have some lotion too, but I donā€™t use it. It feels so good after I wash my face. šŸ˜€

Listening to podcasts. I listened to podcasts before, but now Iā€™m just devouring them.

Welcome, @FollowerofJesus100! I hope you enjoy your time here, learn something you didnā€™t know, and makes some friends!

Trying to learn crochet.
I canā€™t get the edges of the square straight.

That will come with time! As you develop a rhythm to your stitches, youā€™ll find your tension on the yard becomes much more even!

New hobby? Well, Iā€™ve always sewed but m now making masks! Iā€™m using various colors and patternsā€¦all with a tight thread weaveā€¦and you can easily inset a filter between the layersā€¦Iā€™ve read that paper towels or coffee filters are quite good. Iā€™ve sewn big red lips on one of them and Iā€™m going to add a mustache to another. Theyā€™re quick and easy!

Sewing. At first I was just hoping to help out by making masks, but now my head is full of ideas for alterations and I made a tote bag. This could get pretty big with me.

My mom has been making masks. She could already sew, but hadnā€™t done it in a while, I imagine a lot of people are like that right now

What kinds of masks does she make? I make single and reversible fitted ones and Iā€™m trying to make pleated masks but Iā€™m still learning to pleat. Iā€™m looking for the proper measurements for an Olsen. My first attempts were just rectangles but they didnā€™t have any give or any edge coverage so I scrapped that method.

Iā€™ve started to play ā€œgardenscapesā€. Itā€™s a little bit like candy crush. You solve puzzles, most of them matching three objects until you clear the board gor stars. Then with the stars you win you renovate the garden of a mansion.

And you also interact with the butler named Austin. Heā€™s more of a groundskeeper. And heā€™s pretty creepy.

Me too. I lose a stitch every so often I think and my crocheting gets more narrow.
