Perhaps it was a fun date or a jokey sense of humor or their deep conversations. What is it that you enjoy or find attractive or one of your favorite things about them?

I’ll start: sense of humor and optimistic energy

My husband is easygoing and flexible. It takes a lot to make him angry. He doesn’t get anxious about little things — I know that if he’s worried about something, it must really be something bad. If things don’t go as planned, he easily adapts and adjusts.

I’d say those things are what I love most about him because they’re the opposite of me — I get angry about little things, worry about everything, and get anxious when we have to deviate from our original plans. His opposite way of handling things often brings me out of unreasonable worry and anxiety.

He’s also got an outrageous sense of humor. He can pretty much turn anything into a joke. Some days I’m laughing so hard at the things he says I can’t catch my breath. He keeps ordinary life fun. And he’s understanding about my mental health problems and patiently tries to help rather than taking them personally.

Those beautiful green eyes! She is also such a sweet girl. Loves her family and friends so very much. In her 60s and still close with her parents and four siblings. A great grandma!

My husband always says something funny while he is half-asleep. It is hysterical. Usually in the morning when he first wakes up.

Of course, he has much greater and more important qualities that I love, but this one is so much fun. 30+ years and I still haven’t tired of it.

When I wake my wife up at 5:40 in the morning to say goodbye because I need to go to work, about two seconds after she wakes up she gives me the most heart warming smile ever. I love this because she is not a morning person at all. When we were only dating and I would call her on the phone early in the morning for whatever reason, it would literally sound like she was in pain to be woken up so abruptly lol. But when I wake her now, she smiles. I spend about a minuet holding her, she gives me a blessing, I give her a blessing, she tells me to be safe at work (I work in construction) and I tell her to have a great workday, then I give her a kiss and we say bye.

Even when I do not feel like going to work that day, she sends me off in a good mood just to see that smile. I hope she never stops doing this.

This melted my heart. Thank you for sharing. 😊

Her sense of humour and her smile. I love going on long drives with her and just being in her company. I also love her encouragement of my hobbies and when she has a burger and fries waiting after I’ve been out kayaking all day.

Lots of things. I love how he plays the piano when we sing together. I love that he likes doing stuff together. I like when he makes dinner, which he does a lot more these days.
