Hello,
In order to have full consent to a sinful thought is dwelling/entertaining it always (ordinarily) necessary?
For example: If you have a temptation to think a sinful thought (not the thought its self, but a temptation to think it) and you give in to it (think the thought, or start thinking it) but then 1/2 a second after you reject it and push it out of your mind. Is it possible that full consent could have been given?
Is full consent at the moment you choose to think it, or at the moment you choose to keep it in your mind?
This is assuming that the thought is grave matter and that you have full knowledge.
Thank you!
