Our family is going on an Alaskan cruise this summer. We put a deposit on Celebrity and then later found a cheaper reservation with Princess. Found out a week ago that Celebrity does not have Sunday Mass onboard ship unless there happens to be a priest available. The Princess cruise does. We have not decided which itinerary we prefer. Are we obligated to take the Princess cruise since they have Mass onboard, even though we may like the Celebrity itinerary better? Would love to go to Sunday Mass but want to know what the Church teaches as far as Sunday obligation. How far does it go? At this point we have not made a decision about which cruise, but will be doing so this weekend. Thanks.
