What is possible for a husband who wants to be a priest?

My husband wants to know, if he was called to be a priest and did not know how to discern the calling before we got married has he disobeyed God and Gods calling on his life? He would also like to know if he can become a priest (not a decon) even though he is married? Would we have to move to the Eastern chruch? Or does all this mean my husband has to wait till I die to enter into the priesthood?
 
Dear Matilda,

If God wanted your husband to become a priest before he decided to get married, your husband would have known this. God is quite capable of making such things known. If God wants him to be a priest now, it would be in one of the eastern rites of the Catholic Church.
