Is the source of life energy really? Then why young bodies die? I mean why science cannot re-animate a body after death? If the life of human is from energy then a body should get animated through supporting blood circulation by a machine but why body do not animate?

God is the source of all life and existence. That said, I’m not ruling out some type of reanimation of the neural system soon after death, assuming there’s not complete cell death or what have you.

The source of life, from our perspective, is the Holy Spirit. He is the source of all the souls, of plants, animals and humans.

Life is not energy. In fact, undirected or misdirected energy can end life (gravitational potential energy applied to the human body, for example, falling down stairs; or electrical energy applied to the human hands or head).

One could call life a process of energy, in the same manner that energy results from processes of matter.

There is as much chemical energy in a dead body as there was in life, but energy is no longer processed.

Because electrical energy can make muscles move, it was once confused with life itself. But no amount of electrical power can restart a dead head.

Life isn’t just energy, it’s a matter and energy; in other words a form of chemistry. And life isn’t the only chemical system that decomposes. As to bringing something back to life, that would mean having to “fix” all the parts of an organism that quickly begin to break down after metabolism ceases. When one thinks about more complex structures like the neural connections in the brain, well there are even conditions while an organism is still alive that can damage those pathways or destroy or cause the neurons themselves to malfunction, so it would be even harder to reanimate a body and restore those more complex connections.

There’s no magic here, just a whole lot of rather complex chemical interactions.

Can life be the evidence for presence of God?

Unbelievers suppose that the life is conclusion of energy. Believers think that life of human come from soul which was created by God so the source of life is God. If soul exit out of body yet body can has life? My answer is no. The evidence is the death. Death is the departing of soul from body. After soul get out of body then body cannot has life without soul anymore. The source of life is not from nature. Life is more meaningful and light than energy and natural forces. If life is from nature then can somebody compose the body of an alive by joining atoms one by one and animate it? It is impossible without God.

I think that what makes something alive is if they have a principle of life in them. Something purely physical and mechanistic can not be alive because it doesn’t have this principle of life. For example, we don’t consider cars to be alive. They are simply mechanistic machines that we created by manipulating materials with knowledge of physics according to our designs. This principle of life we call the soul. I think Aristotle and Aquinas were onto something here.

DNA.
