hasantas - There are a lot more passages in the Qur’an and the many Hadiths that refer to deception as being approved in general practice if it is used for the furtherance of ‘Islam’. The problem is that in studying the history of Islam, even from the time of Muhammad, that this ‘furtherance’ of ‘Islam’ had a very broad and often materialistic brush.
Ishaq:365/Tabari 7:94 “Muhammad bin Maslamah said, ‘O Messenger, we shall have to tell lies.’
‘Say what you like,’ Muhammad replied. ‘You are absolved, free to say whatever you must.’”
Ishaq:383 “One of the young men’s fathers confronted Muhammad and said,
‘You have robbed my son of his life by your deception and brought great sorrow to me.’”
Ishaq:442 “By Muhammad’s order we beguiled them.”
Bukhari: 4.52.220: “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror. The treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand”;
Bukhari: 4.56.795: “I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world by Allah”.
Muhammad gain his earthly riches by war and deception.
Interestingly, when the Devil tempted Jesus with earthly riches, He rejected them and banished the Devil.
Prophet Muhammed is known as “Muhammed-al Emin”. Al-Emin mean trustable, never lie or cheat. Even the enemy and opponent of Muhammed trust Him and they know that Muhammed had never lie. If they would find a lie from Him they would refute His prophethood and nobody would believe in Him.
Islam ban and forbid to lie. The lie(Kizb) is the essentials of rejection. The lie is one of the mortal(big) sin. It is very distressing for Islam to be accused with what exactly Islam opposite.
Why do you not give the exact text of Hadiths and so we can interpret. (Ishaq:365/Tabari 7:94 “Muhammad bin Maslamah said, ‘O Messenger, we shall have to tell lies.’
‘Say what you like,’ Muhammad replied. ‘You are absolved, free to say whatever you must.’”) I cannot find the text. The Hadiths issue need specialty and I am not a scholar.
Ishaq:383 “One of the young men’s fathers confronted Muhammad and said,
‘You have robbed my son of his life by your deception and brought great sorrow to me.’” In this there is no any lie but someone think/assume his son is robbed by deception but indeed that son was assured with appeal of truth.
Bukhari: 4.52.220: “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror. The treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand”; I realy wonder the exact text. There are Hadiths about captures of war but there is nothing about terror!
Bukhari: 4.56.795: “I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world by Allah”. So you think these treasures are assets of world? Was Muhammed rich? Did he live in a palace? There were very few estate assets of Muhammed after Him. That treasures are about religion(Islam), facts and Muslims.
You asperse about a prophet. Why do not quote from Qur’an and Haidths about saying true/right? You will have some pages of writting. But you quote from little what you do not understand exactly. That is a deceiver way(You claim something about deception, attention!)
Prophet Muhammed initially captured hearts. If Muhammed would not assure someone then who would struggle for Him? If Muhammed had not got any fact then He would never win adherents. People were not stupid that they could not understand what Muhammed claim. Everyone assessment very carefuly then they accept faith. Otherwise it is not easy to change religion. Arabs were pagan and idols were their gods. So they were very angry about Muhammed because Muhammed reject their gods and brought a new religion. It might got a bit long time for some to understand the fact but nobody accept (as inner) if he/she do not believe indeed. There have been some and they weree called Munafik. Nobody harm Munafik because they said “we are Muslim”.
A liar cannot trick millions for centuries. In that way how you can respect Jesus?
