First, I’d suggest you and hubby reading TOGETHER and discussing Christopher West’s book Good News about Sex & Marriage. My wife and I just finished reading it together and it was a wonderful experience.
Now then, I’ve never read an official position on “toys” but based on the book mentioned above and other reading I’ve done on the Theology of the Body I’d say that they are allowed ONLY if their place is properly understood. A married couple may use various means of stimulation as foreplay but the stimulation MUST be part of the overall marital embrace. If these items or any other means of stimulation become the fulfillment of the act then their use is disordered. Make sense?
