What is the Catholic view on Reiki?

Hi… Have been wondering about whether Reiki is considered acceptable in the church. A few years ago I took a course on Reiki - basically to obtain 12 CEU’S for my Social Work license. I have both received Reiki and have used it on others. Somewhere I read that it is a big NO…NO for those who are Catholic. I actually never even thought it would be something that would be against the Church’s teaching. :bigyikes: I was more interested in getting my CEU’s for my license renewal. Will you please help me better understand how the church views this.
