I was reading the document on second vatican II documents, specifically The Decree On Ecuminism,
Code:
It stated "For, according to Catholic belief, the authentic teaching authority of the Church has a special place in the interpretation and preaching of the written word of God."
Protestants have commentaries, The Priest I studied my RCIA classes from, said we have to study the context of the times and language and usages, and what about the traditions, I have tried to find a book on the traditions of the Church.
Did the Holy Father John xxIII speak ex cathedra when he said we are all brothers, Jesus said only those who do the will of my father are my brothers and sisters, that dark and light have nothing in common, not to throw your pearls to the pigs, that if someone won't listen to you have treat them like a gentile or tax collector, those who do not gathe with me scatter.
Your knowledge will be greatly appreciated if it's true and your teaching comes from the Holy Spirit.
God's Grace to you.
