Since Christ is the Logos of God, God is become reasonable in him. God is mysterious and at the same time God is reason-able. What he reveals can be reasoned with by human beings.goout:![]()
Oh to know the mind of Christ definitively like you do…Might fall under the category “things Christ is not really worried about”.
So we can, to the extent possible, know the “mind” of God through Christ.
We can know what Christ considers important in the human condition, what Christ’s concerns are in our faith walk. We know this by knowing what Christ said, did, who he criticised, who he praised. etc…
Externalism is not something praised by our Lord Jesus. In fact it seems that some of his harshest criticism is aimed at externalism.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to just throw our hands up in confusion at the mind of God. God wishes to draw us toward him. Christ and his Church can guide us.
As human beings we have limited amounts of time to respond. With Christ we can determine:
“this is important, this is not so much”, and order our lives as such.
