Dear Apologist:
I am a Catholic, I was questioned by my priest in confession which I felt was inappropriate by putting me in a spot. I feel going to Confession is personal & a place to confess your sins to seek absolution and to feel good afterwards. He always tells me we have no more time because it’s limited time-frame but you see I was already done when he asked me the question which he could have asked me outside of the confessional. What is the right way to receive Holy Communion? Is taken by tongue ok? or must you take it in your hand? Thank you. Joan B.
