What is the difference between Thomist soteriology and Molinism?

Every explanation I’ve tried to find has been way over my head, so please summarize and explain it in the easiest way possible. Also, would you say that most Catholics are Thomist, or Molinist? Finally, are there any Catholics who subscribe to Arminianism or Calvinism? Does the Church allow for that?
