My son, who is 25, was born on Epiphany. It is always a blessed day because that’s the day I gave birth to him. My mom said it is a very (name removed by moderator)ortant day. What is the truth of Epiphany?
The Feast of Epiphany commemorates the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, when they worshipped him and gave him gifts. It is called “epiphany” because it was the revelation or manifestation of the one true God to the Gentiles. Traditionally, it is celebrated on January 6, and in Catholic countries it is usually the day on which Christmas presents are exchanged. Today, in the U.S., Epiphany is celebrated on the second Sunday after Christmas.
